I’ve had an incredibly busy winter directing and co-producing a play in Geneva and now with moving my photography studio. It’s already late April and I’m finally just coming up for air and able to take a breath! Whew!! 2025 sure has started off bumpy in so many different ways. I really hope things smooth out for the rest of the year!
Moving is never easy. I really liked my cute little farmhouse studio, but I was smooshed in there and it was time to find a space that is bigger. Unfortunately, the economy has been challenging for business and rent for commercial space doesn’t make it any easier for a small business owner. After researching locations and costs, I decided to team up with the lovely Becca Lentz from B & B Photography and we found a location to suit both our needs and split the costs making it more affordable for both of us to maintain our businesses while making the space beautiful and comfortable to work in. I’m super excited by how it turned out! It’s such a great space and I cannot wait to create new memories with my clients there!
Speaking of new beginnings, I also wanted to announce that I will now be offering print products with my sessions this year. I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time and I feel like now is better than ever. I really feel passionate about offering this service for my clients as I feel it’s important to preserve the beautiful memories I capture to live in print for future generations to cherish. We live in a such a digital world where these moments can be easily erased and we have nothing to show, nothing to pass down when they do. I feel it’s my job to make sure I help find a way to preserve these memories and offer my clients something meaningful they can display to enjoy whenever they wish.
