I kicked off my first outdoor family session of spring with one of my absolute favorite families I’ve ever had to honor of capturing. In between battling random snow storms though the end of April, I think the green is here to stay (knock on wood), or at least I hope so!
This family just literally melts my heart. I had the privilege of capturing the twins’ newborn and 1yo photos so we set this family session up just two days before they unfortunately moved to another state 🙁
As a storytelling photographer, I’m sad I won’t be able to document more of this beautiful family’s story, but so happy they’ll move somewhere they can hopefully thrive.
This amazing Mom contacted me two months after her preemie twin girls were born. I won’t lie, I was a little bit nervous about capturing twin newborns who were already two months old. Then, she asked if I could do a sibling photo… a sibling photo which consisted of FIVE other siblings!!! I almost cried!! lol 😉 But, of course I said “YES” because she needed that photo, and I knew that!
They came to the session and I quickly realized I had NOTHING to stress about! This family had it together in my eyes!! The twins’ were probably one of the best, sleepiest set of twins’ I’ve ever photographed and the kiddos were literally all just angels!!
To me, they are a SUPER FAMILY!! The Mama is SUPER MOM! They had three girls of their own before adopting two very sweet and loving boys. After welcoming their sons, they shortly found out they were pregnant with TWINS!! I can only imagine their surprise. Still, she manages to homeschool her children and take care of EVERYONE’S needs!! The Dad is equally amazing! I’ve never seen him without a smile and has never once raised his voice with 7 kids!! These are the most patient, loving and incredible parents I’ve ever met!! So incredibly happy I got to squeeze in one more shoot with them before leaving.
Lastly, for me- it’s so comforting to know there are walking angels amongst us. Wishing them much love and ALL THE BEST on their newfound adventures!
